Reclaim (Recovery) Cylinders

Refrigerant recovery cylinders are an important part of the engineer’s tool kit.

Used for the safe recovery, storage and transport of waste refrigerants which can then be returned for environmentally friendly disposal conforming to current F-Gas legislation.

When a recovery cylinder has been used it must be transported with a completed environmental waste transfer note indicating what refrigerant was removed, when & where it was removed from, how much was removed and by whom. This is a legal document and these must never be transported without the accompanying documents.

There are 3 recovery cylinder types:
Standard HFC/CHFC - Class A1 non-flammable refrigerants – These are the standard use refrigerant recovery cylinders.

HFC/HFO - Class A2L Mildly flammable refrigerants – These are for mildly flammable refrigerants such as R32, R1234yf.

Hydrocarbon - Class A3 Highly flammable refrigerants - These must be used for flammable refrigerants such as R290 and R1270. Enquire for more information
